Can you top my Friday afternoon???

Last week, I took my car to the shop to get the brakes checked on. The guy was real nice about it too. He didn’t charge me for anything. He took off my front left tire and adjusted some stuff, then bled the brakes. I asked me what would be the best time to bring in my car. He told me the Tuesday after Labor Day. Then he sent me home with my car (p.s.- my dad was with me the whole time).

The rest of the week, I drove my mom’s car to school, except for Friday. On Friday, my dad had to use my mom’s car to drop some stuff off at my uncle's house. I ended up driving my own car to school and back home.

Then after school, my cousin, Kami, Daniel, and I were going to all go out for lunch and meet up at a restaurant. On the way to the restaurant, my car started making this noise. I pulled over and checked all my tires. The sound sort of sounded like a flat tire flapping. I looked to see if any of my tires were flat. All of them were fine, so I was back on my way to lunch.

I drove about another half a mile down the road. I was going the speed limit (55mhp), then all of a sudden, my car falls on to it’s front left axel and my tire goes flying down the street. The guy who worked on my car the week before hand not tightened the lug-blots tight enough on my car.

I drove my car on the three tires over to the side of the road. I started to cry, not because I was scared but because I was like “Oh my god, what just happened?” I called my mom, then AAA (they had me on hold for ever, or at least it seemed like it). They sent a tow truck. I sat on the side of the road for about an hour and a half. I finally got home and I had to be at work in 15 min.

Saturday, I drove with my parents around town to find a place that works on my car. Completely by accident we came across this place called “German Dreams.” While we were there, setting up an appointment to get my brakes properly worked on, I bought all new chrome rims and hub caps, tires, a new windshield wiper motor, two new back signal lights, a spare tire, 4 new wheel cylinders, a new master cylinder, brake pads, and new drums. All together, plus labor, my total came out to $882.79

That was my Friday/ Saturday. How was yours?
